We are delighted to announce we have rebranded to become part of the Lakehouse plc Group.
Following the rebrand we would like to reassure our customers that we will retain our name and services, while the move will allow us to reach a wider range of businesses across the UK.
Since becoming part of the Lakehouse group, we have been presented with opportunities to grow our position within the domestic and public sectors, as well as link with existing Lakehouse clients in the private sector.
Our continued expansion has already created 60 local jobs following the opening of a new call centre as part of a five year contract with Lakehouse company, Providor to provide smart meter services for one of the ‘Big Six’ energy companies. The call centre will deliver the UK-wide smart meter telesales services.
Gareth Henderson, managing director at Orchard Energy said:
“Since 2004 we have been helping customers manage their utility costs and we are proud of our exceptional customer service record. Joining the Lakehouse Group has helped us build on this success, while opening doors to new opportunities and larger tenders including working in the domestic energy market and public sector.
“This is an extremely exciting time for everyone at Orchard as we continue to grow and welcome new people to the team.”
As part of the Lakehouse Group, Orchard Energy will continue to provide our usual services to customers including procurement, invoice validation, revenue recovery from inaccurate historic billing, key account management, changes of tenancy, terminations and contract transfers; cost savings compliance and connection; as well as water drainage, such as leak detection.
In 2017 we will also be expanding our water procurement team to cover England when the industry follows Scotland and deregulates the commercial water market.
